Bonsai Tool Kits are priced slightly cheaper then if you were to purchase the tools individually. We also offer free access to our online bonsai beginners course with selected tool kits so if you are just starting out you can get a good range of tools to begin and also the education you will need to practise bonsai.

At the bare minimum i would suggest some scissors and tweezers to begin pruning and removing weeds from your bonsai pots, if you are doing wiring as well i would suggest a kit with wire cutters and some jin pliers as well.

The cheaper tool kits on amazon and Ebay are what we call throw away tool kits. you can buy them to get started but as you progress those tools are no longer usable due to their poor quality. This means you throw that tool kit away and buy all the same tools again just in higher quality. Our tool kits are designed to get you into the art with essential tools that will last a very long time and you wont need to replace them as you advance.
