A crean mate is a small soft rubber block that removes grime and sap like nothing else, If you have ever tried to remove pine sap or fig sap from your tools you know what I'm talking about. it can also remove surface rust if it begins to appear on your tools. The great thing about a crean mate is it lasts a very long time, doesn't require any chemicals to use, is easy to store and is cheap

Camellia Oil is a safe and effective way to prevent your tools from rusting by applying a small film after use before you store them. Camellia oil can also keep the joints of the tools moving free. The other benefit of having camellia oil is it can be used to bring the colour of pots back out for shows.

The tool oil applicator is a must have if you get camellia oil. The applicator holds your camellia oil in cotton at the base of the applicator, there is a felt applicator up the top which draws up the oil ready for use. By using the applicator you apply only a fine film which is all that is needed. If you use the oil without the applicator you will apply some oil to a rag just to apply a small amount of what you put in the rag. This means you will go through far more bottles of oil over time vs if you had the applicator. The applicator is always loaded and ready to use so it is also more conveniant.
