Introduction

Whenever I’m asked about the best tools for beginners in bonsai, my answer is always the same: education. Without the knowledge of how to use them effectively, even the finest tools are of little value.

A solid foundation in bonsai education can dramatically accelerate your progress. It’s often the difference between years of stagnant growth and achieving in one year what might otherwise take five.

At Bonsai-En, we’re committed to providing the education you need to succeed. So, what exactly are we offering to help you unlock your potential in bonsai?

1 Year Curriculum

We are offering a comprehensive bonsai education program spread over an entire year, with two classes each month. Each session will run up to two hours (though durations may vary slightly but will not exceed two hours).

By structuring the curriculum over a full year, we align classes with the seasonal needs of your bonsai. For example, repotting classes are held at the beginning of winter, ensuring you’re fully prepared for the work when it’s time to act at the end of the season.

Our curriculum will repeat annually, giving you the flexibility to join when it suits you. If you miss a class this year, you’ll have the opportunity to catch up next year—come and go as your schedule allows.
