A jita is a small and generally thin stand that your Kusamono or accent plant would sit on when displaying bonsai.
To put this in as big of a broad brush stroke as i can generally when choosing a jita you would first look at your trees stand and try to make sure you are not choosing the same shape. If you have a square stand don't get a square jita. Next is the colour, you will want a colour thats not the same as your trees stand but also something that wont clash or draw your eye too much, for example if your trees stand is very dark you wont want to get a very light coloured jita as this may draw the viewers eye too much. Lastly now you need to apply these same guidlines to your kusamono, if its in a round pot dont use a round jita, if the pot is very light i wouldnt go for a very dark jita. As mentioned these are just a simple guide and cant always be met, its best to use your own judgment but at least you have a starting point.
